Recent Activities

Carryout Field Supervision & Monitoring of performance of Health Professionals

Nepal Health Professional Council is currently carrying out field supervision and monitoring to study performance of Health Professionals with assistance from World Health Organisation. Representatives from NHPC are visiting Kathmandu, Biratnagar, Jhapa, Sunsari, Siraha, Saptari, Janakpur, Bara, Parsa, Makwanpur, Chitwan, Butwal, Bhairhawa, Nepalgunj, Bardiya, Surkhet, Pokhara, Parbat, Myagdi and Baglung.

Nepal Health Professional Council (NHPC) organized a two day workshop seminar on Review current curriculum of PCL General Medicine, PCL Physiotherapy and PCL Ophthalmic Science" on 11 and 12 Ashad, 2067 (25 and 26 June, 2010) with a financial support from World Health Organization. Honorable Member of National Planning Commission (NPC) Dr. Chet Raj Pant attended the program as a Chief Guest.

Development of standard logbook, norms and guidelines for TSLC and PCL health professional education

Nepal Health Professional Council (NHPC) organized a workshop seminar on “Development of standard logbook, norms and guidelines for TSLC and PCL health professional education” on April 23 and 24, 2010 (Baisakh, 10 and 11, 2067). The main objective of this two-day meeting/seminar was to bring all concerned parties (Ministry of Health and Populations, five regions health professionals training institutes and its representatives, health professionals and CTEVT) together and discuss about the standard logbook, norms and guidelines for TSLC and PCL health professionals education.

             National Planning Commission, Nepal Health Professional Council & Nepal Nursing Council jointly organized a one day seminar on "Strengthening Management of Public Health Practice" on 29 Bhadra, 2067(14th September, 2010) at Shankar Hotel, Lazimpat, Kathmandu, Nepal. The main objective of this seminar was to bring all concerned parties representatives from National Planning Commission, Ministry of Health and Populations, Forum For Health and Technical Science, Concerned Universities and CTEVT together and discuss on Strengthening Management of Public Health Practice.
