
Nepal Health Professional Council is an autonomous body established in terms of the Act No. 30 of the year 2053 (1997 A.D).
We are committed to serving and protecting the public and providing guidance to registered healthcare practitioners.
We achieve our mandate by regulating the health professions in Nepal in aspects pertaining to registration, education and training, professional conduct and ethical behavior, ensuring continuing professional development, and fostering compliance with healthcare standards.
Recent Activities



Nepal Health Professional Council is currently carrying out field supervision and monitoring to study performance of Health Professionals with assistance from World Health Organisation. Representatives from NHPC are visiting Kathmandu, Biratnagar, Jhapa, Sunsari, Siraha, Saptari, Janakpur, Bara, Parsa, Makwanpur, Chitwan, Butwal, Bhairhawa, Nepalgunj, Bardiya, Surkhet, Pokhara, Parbat, Myagdi and Baglung.
Nepal Health Professional Council (NHPC) organized a two day workshop seminar on “Review current curriculum of PCL General Medicine, PCL Physiotherapy and PCL Ophthalmic Science" on 11 and 12 Ashad, 2067 (25 and 26 June, 2010) with a financial support from World Health Organization. Honorable Member of National Planning Commission (NPC) Dr. Chet Raj Pant attended the program as a Chief Guest.
